I would classify viruses as nonliving because they don't have any organs, and they don't move. Viruses don't have any organs so they can't perform simple life functions. Viruses travel through bloodstreams and only some use their legs to grab onto cells.

I agree that a lack of organs is an important argument against classifying viruses as living things.
