The All Species Foundation is trying to discover and classify every organism on Earth. They have so far discovered and classified over 20,000,000 organisms but still think that there are over 100,000,000 undiscovered organisms on Earth. New organisms are only being classified at about 15,000 a year. They are trying to make one page on the internet for every animal ever discovered. Technology is playing a big part in speeding up the process of discovering these organisms. Inventions like small one-man submarines and foggers are speeding up the process. The All Species Foundation is also trying to find students studying taxonomy. More taxonomists would help classify more animals faster. Many of these undicovered species may be found in developing nations. This would give an opportunity for students in those countries to become taxonomists, aiding research in thier countries
